Restoring Stem Cell Activity Repairs Muscle

November 23rd, 2009 No comments
The following extract is from a detailed article published on muscle repair as we age. This is important information to know  since a  Stem Cell Enhancer accelerates the release of your own body’s stem cells which is particularly beneficial for muscle repair and much more.

Pathway Suppresses Muscle Repair As We Age

As we age changes in factors excreted by muscle cells suppress stem cells to make them do less repair. So our muscles decay. The problem is that aged muscle cells send the wrong mix of signals to neighboring stem cells. This turns down stem cell activity and reduces the amount of repairs that get done.

An enzyme called MAP kinase (and kinases generally hook phosphates onto other proteins – often to regulate them) declines with age and this decline in MAP kinase (MAPK) appears to be key in turning down stem cell activity. The lowered stem cell activity means that muscle damage doesn’t get repaired and therefore we accumulate more damage and muscle shrinkage as we age.

How does a Stem Cell Enhancer named StemEnhance work?

When you take two capsules of StemEnhance, the ingredients help to support the release of stem cells from the bone marrow into the bloodstream.  Through a natural process, those stem cells then travel to areas of the body where they are most needed.

Proteins in Skin Stem Cell Helps It Regenerate

We know that the cells in our face and skin can only regenerate so many times. We see it on our wrinkles and fine lines, and that’s why we use facial care products religiously, and we maintain healthy habits, to keep our face and skin as subtle and young as much as we can.

It’s known that stem cells found within the skin do create new cells, replenish themselves and continually rejuvenate skin

and hair. Well, a new study published in Nature Genetics discovered the very proteins – TCF3 and TCF4 – that are doing the job of continually renewing skin stem cells.

The study, done in mice, showed that skin stem cells that lost TCF3 and TCF4 lost their ability to self-renew and replace skin cells that have died. The skin regenerated only so much until the cells started dying.

The question that researchers want to know is how to keep TCF3 and TCF4 continually supplied into the skin stem cells, therefore letting the cells regenerate itself and grow new skin. Wow, there is so much benefit in this research in helping burn victims grow their skin back, replacing new skin for those who had extensive facial surgeries, and having hair grow back in those who suffer from hair loss.

More On Stem Cells:

Stem cells can be thought of as “master” cells.  Stem cells are  found in adult tissue.  Adult stem cells are most abundantly found in bone marrow.  Stem cells circulate and function to replace dysfunctional cells, thus fulfilling the natural process of maintaining optimal health.  StemEnhance supports the release of adult stem cells from bone marrow into circulation.

As you age, the number and quality of stem cells that circulate in your body gradually decrease, leaving your body more susceptible to injury and other age-related health challenges. Just as antioxidants are important to protect your cells from “free radical” damage, stem cell enhancers are equally important to support your stem cells in maintaining proper organ and tissue functioning in your body.n

What Are Stem Cell Enhancers?

What Are Stem Cell Enhancers?

Recent scientific developments have revealed that stem cells derived from the bone marrow, travel throughout the body, and act to support optimal organ and tissue function.  Stem cell enhancers are products that support the natural role of adult stem cells.

As you age, the number and quality of stem cells that circulate in your body gradually decrease, leaving your body more susceptible to injury and other age-related health challenges.

Just as antioxidants are important to protect your cells from “free radical” damage, stem cell enhancers are equally important to support your stem cells in maintaining proper organ and tissue functioning in your body.
